Pan da. Miracles & small pieces of happiness.

Saturday, after @XPSim, we were so tired that something special needed to happen. You know when you just need something special to happen :)

So Martha offered to go to have Dinner together (surprise! ;)), and Liz offered to go to Sai Kung (did I spell it right?). So we (JacSo, Martha, Liz, Ren Chang, Jean Paul (have doubts about spelling again - Lingnan exchange student from France) and I) went for beautiful walk in Sai Kung - where all the Sea Food restaurants are, where all these weird fishies swim, where all streets are covered with chinese lights, still there after Mid-Autumn, where you feel a bit like at Sea side and not in HK…

While wondering along the street we found a beautiful place - called "Pan da Cafe". Small place, with amazing decorations, that looked to me just like European small cafes, really, not like everything else here that has Chinese taste, it was full of small things, that made place so special, and food was so good, and it was served in such pretty things, that every detail made our expereice so special!! We felt like in a fairy-tale sitting on the outside of "Pan da.." having a view on the Sai Kung harbour with all those boats and near-sea-houses, small streets with random people, windows of flats across the streets… It was just so Out-of-this-place, so out-of-HK, that it was amazing ;)) Food was soooo good, and soo much, that we all felt increadably happy :) After a hard day, we sat in the beautiful place, with cool people, with good food. I think it was the first time in HK that I enjoyed food so much. Honestly :) there was nothing that disappointed me :))

Also we were served by the guy, who actually was Hong Kong origin and traveled a lot, so created a place so not-chinese, that actually has a soul of its own (the place I mean). And he was smiling all the time, seems like he was so happy we liked his place he loves so much.. We thought maybe he worked so much that at one point opened a place like that, to simply make people happy.. Amazing..place so far away from people.. Simple things and small miracles make a big impact.

I think we all at some point were thinking that this way of life might be so meaningful, because people need small miracles :) and by creating them you canmake people happy, and inspire to do so many good things :))

Liz is right, behind all these opportunities and plans we have every single day - we loose opportunity for being spontaneous. I wish we could create miracles for ourselves more often.
