Pigs and chicks

Courage has always inspired me. Courage of other people who make tough decisions, courage of people who chang their lifes, courage of people who listen to their heart and commit to making dreams come true. Commitment to whats truly important.

There was this scene in Grey's Anatomy, when George is challenged if he is commited to his girlfriend, if he's a pig or a chicken. Because when you're a chicken you give eggs, it doesn’t kill you or make you less. When you're a pig, you give ham - your self and sacrifies yourself to give. So are you a chicken or a pig?

In AIESEC now, while being an alum, its easy to see who's a chicken and who was a pig. Same effort and same process, but different attitude.

For chickens decisions are not difficult, they come, do and leave without regret (sometimes earlier then should have). Forget the next day. They go further for abitions or following the crowd. They do the job. And actually sometimes its better done. But never let it get into the heart, keeping it in mind only.

Pigs at the same time give them selves fully, they put all passion, they take the vision and mission personally, they commit. It’s a relationship they enter and even after years after, keep respect & love. Pigs know concequinces and even then take a risk, commit for long term.

Maybe it has something to do with a fact that my chinese zodiak sign is Pig. Can't help it )

Well, by this post I wanted to support a real Pig (I hope) :), who just commited for another year of making dreams come true, by truly giving hrself to it. The president of my LC, who came through same path as me 3 years back, ~ Katyusha ~ will join MC AIESEC in Ukraine as MC VP Talent Management. And trust me, its always good to have a true Pig in your team :))
